Heat Stress Guidelines

At a meeting held earlier today, affiliates endorsed the draft guidelines for "Work in Hot Environments".

The Labor Council therefore, is circulating this draft document for final comments . If comments are not received by close of business on Tuesday, 24th February, Labor Council will finalise this as our endorsed policy.

Further, affiliates at this meeting also requested the following:

1. Information dissemination via metropolitan and regional seminars on this document and the UV Policy;

2. WorkCover NSW, Labor Council and the Cancer Council conduct these information briefings;

3. WorkCover NSW pursue the development of guidelines for indoor work in consultation with Labor Council.
